Essential storage
The request desk uses browser storage to preserve an unfinished draft on your device. Signed, secure cookies keep authenticated sessions private. A first-party preference cookie records whether you accepted analytics or selected essential storage only, so the prompt does not return on every page. These functions are necessary for the service or for remembering your choice.
Optional first-party interaction analytics
When you accept analytics, Signal Academic records public page visits, link and button clicks, and request-form outcomes through a first-party server endpoint. These events can include the page, event label, outcome code, timestamp, referrer, campaign attribution, browser language, device platform, viewport and screen size, connection class, user agent, hosting-platform location where available, and raw IP address. Successful requests retain acquisition and device context for delivery diagnostics, fraud prevention, attribution, and customer support.
Selecting essential storage only stops optional page and click analytics. Security, fraud-prevention, rate-limit, and request-delivery records can still be created when you submit a form or sign in. The collector does not copy passwords, request instructions, messages, or uploaded files into click analytics. No advertising cookie, cross-site fingerprint, or third-party behavioral advertising tracker is used.
Your control
Choose Accept analytics or Essential only in the cookie prompt. You can clear the preference through your browser to make a new choice. Clearing a session cookie signs you out. Clearing a local draft does not delete a request already confirmed by the server.
